Our Good Shepherd was tending to His sheep watching over them day and night, When He saw two of them besides the still waters fighting the good fight.
Jesus walked over and whispered, “It’s time you both come with me”, Death was prowling, roaring, and baring it’s fangs ravenously.
Renewed hearts stopped beating and beautiful hands and feet were put to rest, Faithful, tender, and formidable, our loving God only takes the best.
Death is relentless but Jesus has everything under control, When our dear brothers breathed their last breath, the good Lord claimed their refreshed soul.
Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth, With tearful eyes,we remember them as we continue our upward course.
Looking beyond earth’s shadow, we trust in our heavenly Father’s will, As He enables us to continue climbing up every mountain and over every hill.
But this day we say “See You Later” knowing we shall meet again, For our Almighty God has spoken: “Yea and Amen”! ——-
