To mark the first anniversary of his passing (25th June) we are publishing some thoughts on Richard Jordan from those who knew him on Death Row:
“Richard was my friend…He was a cantankerous ol’ boy but I loved him like a grandpa!!!! He was humble, would help ya in any way he could, and it was an honor to know him!!! Ya know he was an army veteran!!!! Well…..he was my friend!!! And I miss him!”
“Rich treated everybody on da row the same, he offered up compassion first cause he had been here the longest and knew everything that we dealing with so he show us that we could be men and act as such so that we would be received as such R.I.P. Rich”
“On this date. I want to remember the man Richard Jordan. A man that I had the honor to know for over thirty years.
A kind man.
A generous man.
A funny man.
A hard working man.
Your memory lives on and continues to uplift and inspire those us were blessed yo know you my brother.
R.I.P.”
